Dear Colleagues and Students,
We are pleased to announce that the inaugural New York-Ontario (NYON) Operations Workshop will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the University at Buffalo.
This one-day, in-person workshop will bring together distinguished faculty from leading institutions across the New York-Ontario region for a series of invited research talks in operations research and related fields. The event will also feature a keynote address delivered by Professor Amy Ward from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
In addition to faculty presentations, the workshop will include a Ph.D. student poster session, providing an opportunity for emerging scholars to present their research and engage with faculty from across the region. We welcome poster submissions from doctoral students in operations, management science, and related areas.
Registration for the event is free and due by Friday, September 12. Further details, including the program schedule and registration information, can be found on the event website:
The NYON Workshop aims to showcase cutting-edge research in various areas of Operations Management, including supply chains, service operations, artificial intelligence, technology, and healthcare. We hereby warmly invite faculty members and students from near and far to join us for a stimulating and collegial day of scholarship and exchange.
We look forward to seeing you in Buffalo this September!
