    Event Description:

    Join us for a special virtual outreach event featuring two back-to-back sessions led by Program Directors from the National Science Foundation (NSF). These sessions are designed to provide valuable insights for NSF funding opportunities.

    ·         The event is free and open to all faculty, researchers, and graduate students who are interested in NSF funding.

    ·         Registration is required.

    ·         The event will not be recorded. Non-technical aspects will not be discussed. The slides may only be displayed during the presentation and will not be shared.

    ·         This event is co-organized by the Quality Control & Reliability Engineering (QCRE) Track and the Design & Manufacturing (D&M) Track of IISE.

    Session 1: NSF Funding Opportunities
    Time: May 30, 1:30–2:45 PM ET
    The first session will provide an overview of current NSF programs relevant to the IISE community, including emerging funding priorities and key considerations for successful submissions.

    Session 2: NSF Proposal Writing
    Time: May 30, 3:00–4:45 PM ET
    The second session will focus on best practices for writing competitive NSF proposals, with guidance on structuring proposals, addressing review criteria, and avoiding common pitfalls.

    Each session includes a Q&A segment to engage directly with NSF program directors.
