The OR Education stream at IFORS 2026 (12–17 July 2026, Vienna, Austria) provides a focused forum to exchange experiences, present innovative teaching practices, and critically discuss current challenges in OR/MS education.

If you wish to submit two abstracts-one to a research-oriented stream and one to the OR Education stream-then you should proceed as follows:
This offers a valuable opportunity to present both technical research and pedagogical work within the same conference.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

AI, computational tools, and open-source software in OR/MS teaching

Innovative teaching and learning formats, including gamification, case-based, and project-based learning

Industry-linked education and the use of real-world cases and data

Curriculum design, student engagement, and assessment strategies
We particularly welcome contributions that reflect on successful teaching practices as well as lessons learned from approaches that did not work as expected, with the aim of strengthening collective learning within the OR education community.
