The 2026 ACM Conference on Economics and Computation (EC 2026) will take place July 6-10 in Rome, Italy, supported locally by the Sapienza University of Rome. Submissions of contributed papers are due on February 9, with abstracts submitted by February 2. The full call for papers is on the conference website.
New this year: papers will be matched to one of 13 Track Chairs via the same matching algorithm assigning PCs and SPCs, and authors will not select their Track.
New this year: papers submitted by the abstract deadline of February 2 are eligible to receive optional AI-generated pre-submission feedback.
There is a growing OR presence in the EC community, and publication in the EC conference does not interfere with OR journals as long as you select the one-page abstract option. There are also opportunities to forward your EC reviews to OR journals. Please note, however, that papers that have been accepted/published at or received a Major/Minor revision from an OR journal cannot be submitted to EC.
