    Hello everyone,

I found a great blog about a summer camp called "Computational Thinking and Equity" organized by the Tapia Center at Rice University. Computational Thinking and Equity. They taught middle and high school students how to use computer thinking to make fair decisions about who gets into a fictional college. I really connected with the idea that computer skills can help make things fair for everyone. In my own life, learning about computers early on made a big difference. But my school didn't mix in lessons about fairness like this camp did. The cool part is that kids from different backgrounds got to learn and work on these problems. It's different from my time in school, and it's great to see these changes happening. I'm curious, has anyone else seen programs like this? How do you think they help with making STEM more diverse? Let's chat about it!
