    I hope you are having a wonderful summer!

    I wanted to share a quick update regarding the Special Issue on AI in Healthcare for the INFORMS Journal on Data Science. We have extended the submission deadline to October 15, 2026, to provide additional time for authors preparing their manuscripts.

    If you have ongoing work at the intersection of AI, data science, and healthcare, we would be delighted to consider your submission. We are broadly looking for innovative research that advances the development and application of AI and data science to improve healthcare systems, clinical decision making, public health, and biomedical discovery, to name a few.

    • New Submission Deadline: October 15, 2026
    • Manuscripts will continue to be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submissions are encouraged.

    I hope you're doing well.

    I wanted to reach out regarding the Special Issue on AI in Healthcare. I have been working on a research idea that I believe may align with the scope of the special issue, and I wanted to check whether it would be a suitable fit before preparing a full submission.

    The paper is titled "A Platform-Based Model for Same-Day Prescription Delivery: Reducing Healthcare Delays Through Predictive Coordination." It proposes an AI-driven predictive coordination framework that applies machine learning and data-driven decision support to improve prescription delivery reliability, medication adherence, and healthcare system efficiency.

    Based on the special issue description, I believe it aligns with the application of AI and data science to improve healthcare systems and public health. I would appreciate your thoughts on whether this topic would be appropriate for consideration.
