    October 14–16, 2026  -  Online

Organized by the INFORMS Technical Section on Telecommunications and Network Analytics

    Welcome

We are pleased to invite you to the 17th INFORMS Telecommunications and Network Analytics Conference (TNA 2026). This year's conference will be held entirely online and free of charge, from Wednesday, October 14 through Friday, October 16, 2026.

As in previous years, the conference brings together researchers and practitioners interested in operations research and management science as they apply to telecommunications and network analytics. We hope you will join us for three days of talks, discussion, and the chance to reconnect with colleagues across the community.

Each presenter must be a member of the INFORMS TNA Section. For questions or further details, please contact the organizers or visit https://sites.psu.edu/informstna2026/.

    Submissions

We welcome abstracts for individual presentations. Each abstract should be at most 2000 characters and should not include formulas, references, or abbreviations. Please note that every presenter must be a member of the INFORMS TNA Section.

Abstracts should be submitted through the online submission system at https://www.euro-online.org/conf/telecom2026/.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: network design, network economics, network analytics, traffic routing, network optimization, network algorithms, sensor networks, wireless and broadband networks, vehicle and mobile computing, semantic networks, network survivability and reliability, information security and privacy, and quality of service.

    Best Student Paper Award

The TNA Section invites nominations for its 2026 Best Student Paper Award, given annually to the best paper in telecommunications and/or network analytics by a student author, as judged by the award selection committee. The award will be presented at the conference. Nominations are due by 11:59 pm EDT on September 15, 2026.

To be eligible, the entrant must have been a student on or after January 1, 2026, and must be the first or primary author of an original-research paper carried out while a student. The entrant must also be a TNA member by the nomination deadline. Full eligibility criteria and instructions for the nomination packet are available in the separate call for nominations and on the conference website.

Nominations and inquiries should be sent to Rui Zhang (rui.zhang@colorado.edu) with the subject "TNA Best Student Paper Award Submission."

    JOGO Special Issue

We are glad to announce that the Journal of Global Optimization (JOGO) has agreed to host a special issue in connection with TNA 2026, and we are grateful for their support.

Please note one important point: the special issue will consider only fully developed journal manuscripts, not extended versions of conference presentations. Submissions are open to conference presenters and will go through JOGO's regular peer-review process.

Submission deadlines and procedures for the special issue will be shared on the conference website closer to the conference.

    Registration

There is no fee for the conference, but all presenters and attendees must register, and each presenter must hold a current INFORMS TNA Section membership. The registration deadline is September 29, 2026. Registration links will be available through the INFORMS Self-Service Center and posted on the conference website.
