The INFORMS Tutorials in Operations Research (TutORials) Series is now accepting proposals for contributions to the 2026 volume. The starting point for potential authors is a proposal that includes the following information:

    1. Title of your tutorial
    2. An abstract that includes the goals and contribution of the TutORial
    3. A brief outline of the sections to be covered
    4. Why the topic matters to the INFORMS community
    5. Short bio for each author

Proposals should be submitted to tutorials@informs.org no later than Friday, 16 January. If the proposal is accepted, authors will be invited to prepare a complete tutorial for review. See the attached document for details and timeline.

We are also seeking one or more additional Volume Editors (VEs) to support production of this year's volume and to serve as track chairs for the TutORials program at the Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA, November 1-4, 2026. VEs should be prominent in their field, with a demonstrable focus on application; work well with others; have good judgment about paper quality and presentation; have strong managerial capabilities; and be willing and able to carry out editorial and administrative responsibilities consistent with the TutORials timeline and mission. For more information, please contact Series Editor David Alderson at tutorials@informs.org
