    Dear INFORMS Colleagues and Friends,

    We are delighted to inform you that the abstract submission is now open for the Eighth Symposium on Games and Decisions in Reliability and Risk (GDRR8),  at Bocconi University in Milan on May 28-30 2025, https://dec.unibocconi.eu/8GDRR,.

    The objective of the symposium is to present novel theoretical results and applications of Game Theory and Decision Analysis in reliability and risk assessment, bringing together researchers from diverse disciplines such as Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Medical sciences, Probability, and Statistics who find themselves working with, and contributing to these themes. The symposium will have invited and contributed talks as well as a poster session.

    The invited speakers include: Laura Albert (Wisconsin), Filippo Ascolani (Duke), Pierpaolo Battigalli (Bocconi), Kevin Burke (Limerick), Daniel Garcia Rasines (Imperial College), Korel Gundem (George Washington), Francesca Ieva (Politecnico di Milano), Dorota Kurowicka (Delft), Massimo Marinacci (Bocconi), Roi Naveiro Flores (CUNEF Madrid), Giulia di Nunno (Oslo), Canan Ulu (Georgetown), Min Xie (CityU Hong Kong), Gregor Zens (International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis) and Enrico Zio (Politecnico di Milano).

    Selected papers submitted to the conference will be published in a special issue of Reliability Engineering & Systems Safety.

    Abstract Submission Closing: March 7, 2025

    Notification of acceptance: March 18, 2025

    Early registration deadline: April 28, 2025
