    The IEOM Society International is organizing the 2026 North American IEOM Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Milwaukee is conveniently located near Chicago and O'Hare International Airport, with many direct flights available from across the United States. The city is only about one hour from Chicago by bus (e.g., Greyhound) or train, making it highly accessible for IEOM Milwaukee Conference participants. Milwaukee is also home to a diverse range of industries, providing excellent opportunities for academic–industry collaboration and engagement.

    This event offers a global forum for academics, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, explore recent innovations, and shape the future of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. We particularly encourage submissions that bridge theory and practice, explore emerging technologies, and push the frontiers of industrial engineering and operations management. The conference is also a venue for networking, collaboration, and identifying trends to advance the discipline.

    ·        Full Papers (for inclusion in the conference proceedings)

    ·        Abstracts / Extended Abstracts (for short presentations or posters)

    ·        Posters / Work in Progress

    ·        Competition Entries (student, thesis, design, project, etc.)

    Format Guidelines:

    ·        All submissions must follow the IEOM templates: Paper Template or Abstract Template

    ·        Use the IEOM reference and style format.

    ·        Submissions should be anonymized for double-blind review when required.

    ·        Include title, author(s) with affiliation(s), abstract, keywords, main content, results, and conclusions.

    ·        Follow the Paper Checklist provided by IEOM.

    Publication & Indexing

    ·        Accepted full papers will be published in the IEOM Conference Proceedings, open access, with a DOI via CrossRef.

    ·        Proceedings carry ISSN: 2169-8767 (U.S.) and ISBN.

    ·        Papers will be considered for indexing in databases including CrossRef, Google Scholar, IEOM Index, EBSCO, and potentially the Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) - though indexing is not guaranteed.

    ·        Each accepted full paper undergoes a double-blind peer review process.

    How to Submit

    ·        Submit via the online submission portal: XCD System for IEOM Abstract / Paper Submission

    ·        Use the required templates (paper, abstract, poster) and follow the checklist to ensure compliance.

    ·        Provide all required elements: title, authors and affiliations, abstract, keywords, full manuscript (if full paper)

    ·        Ensure anonymization when needed for double-blind review
