    Dear colleagues

    We invite nominations for the Lifetime Achievement in Location Analysis Award (LALA). This prestigious, triennial award recognizes an individual who has made significant lifetime contributions to location analysis research over the course of their career. The LALA Award is presented every third year at the closing dinner of the International Symposium on Locational Decisions (ISOLDE). The next presentation will take place at ISOLDE XVII, to be held June 21–25, 2026, at Loyola University, Downtown Chicago, Illinois.     Nomination Deadline

    LALA Nominations will be received until April 1, 2026.

    Nomination Materials

    Nominations (including self-nominations) should be submitted by email and must include the following three items:

    1.     A letter of nomination outlining the nominee's significant contributions and explaining why they should be considered for the award.

    2.     An up-to-date curriculum vitae of the nominee.

    3.     Information on citations and service to the profession provided by the nominee.
