    Dear INFORMS community,

We warmly invite volunteers to serve as judges for the STEM Spark: INFORMS K-12 Poster Competition, sponsored by the INFORMS.

This competition encourages INFORMS student members to share their research in a clear, engaging, and accessible way for high school students. Our goal is to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers through real-world applications of analytics, operations research, and STEM.

Each judge will review approximately 3-4 posters virtually, including a short 3-5 minute recorded presentation, and provide constructive feedback to students.

We especially welcome volunteers with experience or interest in K-12 education. This may include high school teachers, K-12 education professionals, faculty members, industry practitioners, graduate students, and advanced high school students who enjoy mentoring students and helping make research accessible to younger audiences.

If you are interested in serving as a judge, please contact us by May 8, at 5:00 PM ET:

    Fenglian Pan - fpan4@charlotte.edu
    Zihan Zhang - zzhan740@asu.edu

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support our students and the broader K-12 outreach mission of INFORMS.

    Best,
    Zihan
