This session explores how artificial intelligence and data science are transforming humanitarian operations-enhancing the speed, precision, and effectiveness of crisis preparedness and response. As disasters grow more complex and data-rich, AI tools and advanced analytics offer powerful means to forecast needs, optimize logistics, and efficiently allocate scarce resources. We invite presentations (preferably with real-world applications) that propose emerging methods and algorithms, offering insights into how data-driven innovation can build more adaptive, equitable, and resilient humanitarian systems.
