Hello everyone (and apologies for cross posting)
We are extremely pleased to announce our 4th annual Workshop on AI & Analytics for Social Good. This workshop brings together academics, thought leaders and stakeholders to discuss how analytics can support organizations, including government entities, non-profits, and social impact organizations, in improving their reach and impact through innovative use of data and models. The overarching theme is analytics for doing good.
Please save the date: May 2, 2025, at the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park, MD
We also invite you to submit an (up-to) 3 page abstract to the workshop, focusing on the research questions/goals, novelty, methodological approach, main results, and impact or potential for impact. Please submit abstracts by email to socialimpactanalytics@umd.edu. The deadline for abstract submission is February 14, 2025. We particularly encourage young scholars, junior faculty and PhD students to submit papers.
Join us in College Park to exchange ideas with other scholars doing state-of-art research on analytics for making positive impact on society, receive feedback on research projects and preliminary research ideas on analytics for social good and showcase research and ideas with federal and state policy makers.
Have a great day!
Margret Vilborg Bjarnadottir, Jui Ramaprasad, Hamsa Sridhar Bastani, John Silberholz and Jessica Clark
