    Submission Guidelines

The submission site for both the main MSOM Conference and the SIG Day mini-conferences will open on January 10, 2025 and may be accessed then at

    https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/msomconference

Consideration for presentation at the main MSOM Conference requires the submission of a 3-page extended abstract by January 31, 2025. Consideration for presentation at one of the SIG Day mini-conferences requires submission of a full paper by January 24, 2025 (see formatting requirements below). These deadlines are strict and may not be extended.

The submitting / corresponding author must be the individual who would present the work if accepted.

Due to capacity constraints, each attendee is limited to one submission to the MSOM conference, one submission to one of the SIG Day mini-conferences, and one presentation during the entire three-day conference period. In addition, the same work can be presented only once during the entire three-day conference period.

Colleagues wanting to be considered for presentation of the same work at one of the SIG Day mini-conferences and at the main MSOM Conference (in case their SIG Day mini-conference submission is not accepted) must separately submit both an extended abstract and a full paper by the above deadlines. Submissions accepted for presentation at a SIG Day mini-conference will be removed from consideration for presentation at the main MSOM conference if also submitted there.

At the authors' discretion, full papers submitted for presentation at one of the SIG Day mini-conferences and satisfying required guidelines may also be considered for publication in the M&SOM journal as part of a specific process organized by its editorial board (1RR initiative).

Submissions will be selected for presentation by double-blinded review. Submissions not accepted for presentation at either the main MSOM Conference or a SIG Day mini-conference may be offered a space in the poster presentation session to be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

A requirement for presentation in any of the conference venues (SIG Day mini-conferences, main MSOM conference and poster session) is that presenters must register by May 7, 2025.

    Submission Formatting Requirements

To facilitate double-blind review, main manuscript files submitted for presentation should not contain author names. The submitting / corresponding author must be the individual who would present the work if accepted.

Extended Abstracts for Main MSOM Conference: Each abstract should be no more than three pages with 1-inch margins, 11-point font, and at most 33 lines per page. The abstract should include the title, a description of the research problem, the assumptions used, the key methodology, and a summary of major results and their significance. References, if any, should be included within the three pages.

Full Papers for SIG Day mini-conferences: Each paper should comply with the M&SOM journal formatting standards.
