The INFORMS Technology, Innovation Management, and Entrepreneurship Section (TIMES) is excited to announce the finalists of the 2025 TIMES Doctoral Dissertation Competition. The competition is sponsored by UCL School of Management and recognizes the most deserving dissertation related to the technology management, product innovation, process innovation, business model innovation, new product development, and entrepreneurship that was defended no more than two years prior to June 1, 2025.
The 6 finalists (in alphabetical order) are:

2. Clare Snyder: On Worker Behavior in the AI-Enabled Service Triad
3. Helen Wang: Education Technology and Childcare Towards Equitable Opportunity
4. Ilan Morgenstern: Platform Design, Data Tracking, and Competition in Digital Markets
5. Matteo Tranchero: The Role of Data in the Search for Innovation: Essays on Big Data Genomics
6. Savannah Tang: Addressing Challenges in Public Service Operations Management: Data-driven Solutions and Strategies

The dissertations were judged by a panel of experts on their contribution to the theory and practice in operations management, technology and innovation management, and entrepreneurship. The winner and runner up will be announced at the TIMES Business Meeting at INFORMS, Atlanta.
