CAP/aCAP Discussion Forum

INFORMS is the first professional society to develop a formal certification program for analytics professionals. The INFORMS CAP and aCAP exams are designed to validate analytics knowledge and ability, differentiate analytics professionals from their peers, and enhance professionals’ analytics knowledge and ability. Those pursuing the CAP exam should consider themselves to be analytics professionals or semi-professionals while those pursuing the aCAP exam should consider themselves to be new graduates of analytics programs or changing careers into the analytics area. These two programs are intended to provide a high-quality certification and promote continuing competence for practitioners.
