The department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Wayne State University welcomes applicants for multiple Ph.D. positions with full scholarship (GTA) for Fall 2022. The students will work in one of the research areas of Data Science, Optimization, Advanced Manufacturing, Quality/Reliability, Healthcare, Logistics and Supply Chain.

Application Deadline: The deadline for receiving applications is Feb 1st of the calendar year. The decisions regarding financial support for Fall term applicants will be made in late February of the same calendar year.
Admission Criteria: Along with the completed application form, the student needs to submit a Statement of Purpose, GRE and TOEFL (for international students) Scores, Transcripts, Resume/CV, Copies of publications, and three Recommendation Letters. Students with a track record conducting research, publishing papers (Journals, Conferences, etc.), and industry experience will be prioritized.
