The INFORMS Committee on Teaching and Learning (formerly INFORM-ED) is seeking proposals for its cluster of sessions on higher education themes at the 2019 Annual Meeting on October 20-23 in Seattle. Possible session topics include:
- Analytics/OR curricula in mathematics, engineering, and business programs
- Innovations in analytics/OR pedagogy
- Mentoring students and junior faculty
- Incorporating analytics/OR software in courses
- Best practices for documenting teaching performance and evidence of teaching effectiveness
- New challenges in today's educational environment
- Aligning learning objectives, assessment, and course materials
- Learning analytics and educational data mining
- New case studies in analytics/OR
If you are interested in organizing a session or presenting in this cluster, please contact both of us. Sessions must be submitted to us by March 11, 2019 and session chairs must enter presenters by May 1, 2019.
