INFORMS is saddened to share the passing of Jeff Lee Arthur, a member of INFORMS for many years and very active in the INFORMS community. Arthur joined INFORMS in 1976 and was an active member of the Computing Society, Energy Natural Resources and Environment Section, Optimization Society, and Pacific Northwest Chapter. In addition, he served on the Meetings Committee and Sections/Societies Committee, and participated in the INFORMS Speakers Program. Arthur passed away on November 12, 2017.
