He is the Jane R. and Jack G. Mandula Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests include Markov decision processes, queueing, scheduling, applied causal inference, healthcare delivery, emergency medicine, and care transitions.
