Dear colleagues,

I have been asked by the INFORMS Railway Applications Section (RAS) to help share the following announcement about their upcoming competition.

The 2025 RAS Problem-Solving Competition focuses on Failure Prediction of Train Wheels, a topic likely to be of interest to members of the CAI community. Finalist teams will be invited to present at the 2025 INFORMS Annual Meeting in Atlanta, with a chance to win up to $2,000 in prize money. The invited presentation will not conflict with the INFORMS one-presentation-per-attendee policy.
