The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) in the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured Assistant/Associate Professor position in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Business Analytics (BA), with a research focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The appointment begins in August 2026.
Primary responsibilities include conducting high-impact research and teaching in information systems with an emphasis on AI at the undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. levels. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. (completed by August 2026) in a relevant field and demonstrate strong research potential and teaching effectiveness. Preferred qualifications include a record of publications in top-tier journals and significant AI research in progress aimed at top journals.
The ISBA department is a dynamic department with 25 faculty members and a strong research profile in IS and analytics. Full consideration will be given to applications received by October 30, 2025.
The departmental representatives will be present at CIST, INFORMS, and ICIS.
