The purpose of INFORMS is to encourage interest in the field of operations research (OR) and the management sciences (MS) by providing a means of communication and exchange among people having interest in OR/MS with educational programs/opportunities. We also aim to provide an informal means of sharing information about the methods and techniques of OR/MS at the academic and professional levels mainly through presenting a forum of speakers who address OR/MS topics.
