The deadline to apply for the The 2017 New Faculty Colloquium is August 30th. This colloquia is intended for junior faculty who are looking to get advice on successfully navigating the tenure clock and networking with peers. Junior faculty in their first three years of being a faculty member are eligible to apply. Sessions are organized around topics such as building and maintaining a research program, advising students, balancing research and teaching and service, writing successful proposals, and balancing work and life, and many more. The colloquium will feature speakers from business and engineering schools who will address different aspects of expectations.
