Do you have an idea for a new program, benefit or service that should be considered for INFORMS and your fellow members? We are requesting proposals for new initiatives to: • increase value for our members; • help us achieve our strategic goals; and • ensure the long term strength and health of INFORMS. We have a solid financial foundation and a process to evaluate, select, and fund initiatives. The proposal template is posted with this entry and also in the library under New Initiative Funding. Proposals need to be for new initiatives. Funding will provide seed money to test the proposal’s viability. It is not the intention for this process to provide funding for current operating programs or to sustain activities. All proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by the Strategic Planning Committee for recommendation to the Board. Proposals will be reviewed for: suitability and completeness; potential value to INFORMS and our members; potential to help meet our strategic goals; and financial soundness. Our strategic goals, and the current Board approved initiatives to help us achieve them, are posted in the Open Forum Library in the New Initiative Funding folder.
