The CMU INFORMS Student Chapter is excited to announce that the YinzOR Student Conference is back for a seventh year and will be held on August 23-24th, 2024. YinzOR is a single-track, student-centered conference that brings together PhD students and early career faculty with an interest in OR, OM, IE, ChemE, CS, and related areas, to facilitate interaction and collaboration with peers. Talks
This year we are privileged to have 10 speakers joining us from Carnegie Mellon University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and Hexaly.
Poster & Flash Talks
Additionally, PhD students will have the opportunity to participate in a poster competition (registration link) and a 10-minute flash talk competition (registration link). Presenters will receive partial financial support. Deadline to sign up is July 15th.
