    Happy new year!

    You are invited to the workshop on Supply Chain Analytics and Stock Market Intelligence, to be held online on 1/9/2025 2:00-3:30pm New York Times.

    The workshop highlights a data analytics version of supply chain management (SCM), focusing not only on the classic topics of SCM but also the interplay between supply chains, financials and stock market performance.

    The online workshop is free and intended for
    1. Instructors renovating supply chain management courses by data analytics,
    2. Researchers and practitioners exploring the interplay between supply chain analytics and stock market intelligence,
    3. Investors interested in predictive analytics for stock markets through operations and supply chain.
    Speaker bio: Bio: Yao is a professor of SCM at Rutgers University. He won the NSF Career Award on enterprise manufacturing systems (2008-2013), 1st prize of INFORM Case Writing Competition (2014) and the Dean's Research Professorship (2019-2025). His instructional game "Hunger Chain simulation" won DSJIE Best Teaching Brief award in 2021. Modules of his book, "Supply Chain Analytics: Cases, Games and Solutions" (https://yzhao12345.github.io/#book) were adopted by many instructors from around the world.
