The Transportation Science & Logistics (TSL) Conference 2023 is July 23-26, 2023. The following travel grants are available for PhD students:
- North American PhD Student Travel Grants
The United States National Science Foundation has granted the conference 30 $1000 scholarships to support the travel of PhD students currently studying at North American universities.
- International PhD Student Travel Grants
Flexport, a multinational corporation that focuses on supply chain management and logistics, has agreed to sponsor travel grants of up to $500 for 6 students studying at Universities outside US.
Note that you do not need to be presenting at the conference to be eligible for a travel grant. The travel grants can be used for all travel expenses including airfare, ground transportation, hotel, and food. The grant does not cover conference registration. Conference registration is $250/$150 regular/early registration.

To apply, send
- A cover letter indicating how you will benefit from the conference and from the travel funds,
- a CV, and
- your conference abstract if you submitted
