    The Ohio State University, Max M. Fisher College of Business invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Operations Management at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning autumn 2023. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in operations management, or closely related field. Field of specialization within operations management is open but exceptional promise in both research and teaching is required. We expect applicants to be effective in teaching Operations and Supply Chain Management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

    The position will be in the Department of Operations and Business Analytics. Our department focuses on managerial decision-making that is relevant to service and manufacturing organizations across the globe. This focus is apparent in both scholarship and teaching and is most salient in improving both process and systems operational performance across the supply chain. Our course offerings in operations management emphasize management issues using data-driven decision-making.

    At Fisher College of Business, we believe business leadership requires a distinct and nuanced set of skills for a business world that is changing at a pace never seen.     Fisher faculty will be available to interview around the time of the INFORMS annual conference in Indianapolis (October 16-19, 2022).
