    The Operations Management area in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking tenure-track faculty candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in Fall 2023. The primary responsibilities will be to conduct high-quality research, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and provide service to the College, the Institute, and the profession.  

    Candidates should possess demonstrated potential for excellent scholarly research. Candidates should have completed or be sufficiently advanced in their doctoral work in Operations Management or an associated area.   

    The Operations Management (OM) Area consists of a collegial and diverse group of faculty dedicated to doing high-impact research and educating the next generation of researchers and managers. Areas in which we conduct pioneering research include supply chain operations, data-driven service operations, innovation and technology management, and sustainable operations. Beyond publishing and holding key editorial positions in leading operations management journals, our faculty cares deeply about translating their research to practice through interactions with companies and startups. The OM Area also has a robust PhD program in Operations Management.
