    The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Supply Chain Management, with a start date in August 2023 or mutually agreed upon date. The successful candidate will be expected to have an active research portfolio, to teach Supply Chain courses primarily at the graduate level using various instructional delivery methods, to foster applied learning into the course design and engage with business community in applied projects, and to participate in different service activities. Priority will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in supply chain related subject, including but not limited to transportation and logistics, supply chain analytics, warehouse management and analytics, and application of emerging technologies in supply chain.

Located in Kansas' largest business hub and with significant ties to the business community, the W. Frank Barton School of Business provides extensive applied learning and research opportunities.     Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management or in a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution. Applicants at an advanced stage of their doctoral studies (ABD) will be considered if they demonstrate strong evidence to complete their degree requirements prior to the effective date of appointment.
