  • 1.  Tenue-track Assistant Professor position in IE department at Tsinghua University

    The Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University invites applications for one tenue-track Assistant Professor position in the areas of contemporary engineering and service systems, with emphases on innovative, integrated, and dependable applications of models and technologies from multiple disciplines.

     

    Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in IE or related areas by the date of appointment, with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching. The department seeks candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and strengthen the strategic directions of the department in smart, optimal, and sustainable industrial, service, and human-machine systems, and conduct high quality, high impact, and innovative research with outcomes disseminated in flagship journals, conferences, and industry. The salary package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

    Dear Jill,

    Thank you for the message and sorry for the trouble.

    However, I do want to double check where went wrong (so that I won't make the same mistake in the future). I posted the announcement to the TSL society and cross post it to INFORMS Open Forum, which one was wrong, or both? Over years and including these days, I have been receiving job postings from various societies (TSL, Optimization, Computing, Healthcare, MSOM, etc.) almost each day. Were they all redirected from the Available Positions community?

    For the one I posted today, should I withdraw and re-post it to the Available Positions community?
