I am honored and excited to be chairing the Volunteer Service Award again this year. INFORMS volunteers are the foundation of all the projects, initiatives, conferences, journals, and engagement which we all hold so dear. Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague to recognize this vital service to our profession.
The Volunteer Service Award recognizes members who have devoted exception volunteer service during the last year.
Nominations will be accepted for volunteers who meet the following eligibility criteria:
· Current INFORMS member
· Volunteer service within the last year
· Not a current or incoming Board member
· Has not received the award within the past three years
Nominees will be judged by the following criteria:
· Impact within INFORMS
· Engagement level throughout term of service
· Time commitment of volunteer service
The award is given based on service performed to INFORMS in the previous one year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024).
Nominations are due by June 30, 2024.
Nominations must be submitted through the online submission portal.
