The purpose of the Franz Edelman competition is to bring forward, recognize and reward outstanding examples of operations research, management science, and advanced analytics in practice in the world.
The Franz Edelman Award Committee is currently recruiting new volunteers to join the committee for the 2024 competition. The committee, made up of INFORMS members from both industry and academia, represents a wide range of methodologies and applications in operations research and advanced analytics. The committee's term begins in September 2023 and runs through April 2024.
