I hope your summer is going well.
I am writing to inform you that the INFORMS board has given unanimous consent to the following recommendations from the INFORMS publication committee. All new terms will begin on Jan 1, 2026:
- 1. Decision Analysis: Jun Zhuang (University of Buffalo) will succeed the current EIC, Vicki Bier.
- 2. Mathematics of OR: Jose Blanchet (Stanford) will succeed the current EIC, Katya Scheinberg.
- 3. INFORMS Journal on Computing: Andrea Lodi (Cornell) will succeed the current EIC, Alice Smith.
- 4. Information System Research: Supra Sarker (Virginia) will continue his second term as EIC.
- 5. Organization Science: Lamar Pierce (Wash U St Louis) will continue his second term as EIC.
Journal publications play a significant role in our field, and editors, editorial board members, and reviewers volunteer their time to support the INFORMS community.
I acknowledge the outgoing EICs-Vicki Bier, Katya Scheinberg, and Alice Smith-for their excellent service and leadership during their respective terms.
I also welcome the incoming and continuing editors and encourage ongoing support for all EICs as INFORMS moves forward.
