In partnership with the PhD Project, we are pleased to announce and share information about the Tenure Project. The goal of the Tenure Project is to help underrepresented minority (URM) business school faculty attain tenure. With several other institutions, we launch this important initiative with a conference for Black, Indigenous, Latinx junior faculty seeking tenure in US Business schools. The Tenure Project conference will be held at the University of Washington Foster School of Business from August 1-4, 2022.
Please join us in supporting this project by spreading the word and encouraging the eligible faculty in your schools. We are accepting late registrations through June 15. This is an action-oriented conference, aimed at providing the resources junior faculty need to succeed for their specific discipline (e.g., friendly reviews, connections to senior editors and faculty, demystifying the tenure process). Importantly, it's the one opportunity where the ~155 junior URM faculty at business schools can get together in community.
