As editor-in-chief of Decision Analysis, I am delighted to share the winner and finalists of the Clemen-Kleinmuntz Decision Analysis Best Paper Award, for the best paper published in the journal in 2022.
The winner is Andrew Hupman, for her paper "Cutoff Theshold Decisions for Classification Algorithms with Risk Aversion." This award comes with a $2,000 cash prize. Funding for the award is provided by an endowment established by the Kleinmuntz Family Foundation.
The finalists are:
William Caballero, Roi Naveiro, and David Rios Insua for their paper, "Modeling Ethical and Operational Preferences in Automated Driving Systems," and
Colin Small and Eric Bickel for their work, "Model Complexity and Accuracy: A COVID-19 Case Study."
