Dear colleagues,
The deadline to nominate yourself or a colleague for the INFORMS Section on Public Sector Operations Research (PSOR) Board has been extended to Friday, August 18th.
The PSOR Section is a growing and vibrant community and a great forum to disseminate research and network with other colleagues. We request your nominations (or self-nominations) for the following officer positions:
- PRESIDENT-ELECT. This is a three-year commitment. The President-Elect shall assist the President and substitute for the President as needed, including presiding at meetings. The President-Elect shall succeed to the office of President upon completion of the latter's term of office. The President shall succeed to Past President in the last year of tenure.
- SECRETARY-TREASURER. The Secretary-Treasurer shall mainly support the President in the preparation of the business meeting agenda and taking minutes during our PSOR board meetings. The Secretary-Treasurer shall also keep funds and other records updated and help with running the annual PSOR board elections.
- VICE PRESIDENT OF COMMUNICATIONS. The Vice President of Communications shall be responsible for maintaining the web site, the newsletter, and any other external or internal communications outlets.
- JUNIOR VICE-PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS. The Junior Vice President of Programs shall assist the Senior Vice President of Programs. The Junior Vice President of Programs shall succeed to the office of Senior Vice President of Programs upon completion of the latter's term of office.
