    The Center for Healthcare Operations Improvement and Research (CHOIR) at the University of Twente announces the 14th talk in the ORAHS International Seminar Series.

    The ORAHS International Seminars are planned monthly via Zoom in the late afternoon (Europe), morning (US), or evening (Asia/Pacific).

    Our speaker is Dr. Melanie Reuter-Oppermann, Assistant Professor for Operations Research (OR) in Healthcare at the University of Twente. She received her PhD in OR from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and spent her PostDoc at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Her main research interests are OR and IS for emergency services/logistics and crisis management, as well as other areas in healthcare, e.g., blood logistics or primary care. She is a joint coordinator of the EURO working group ORAHS and speaker of the scientific advisory board of the German Society of Paramedic Science (DGRe). Besides, she co-leads the working group on AI in emergency dispatch centers of the Fachverband Leitstellen e.v. and she is cluster head for "Healthcare Analytics" of the "Digital Health" group in the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI). On Nov 28, 2023, at 16:00 (CEST), she will talk about "SPELL – Supporting Emergency Services With OR- And AI-based Approaches." Please find more info about Melanie here:
