The Academic Committee of the M&SOM Practice-Based Research Competition (Turgay Ayer, Feryal Erhun, Marshall Fisher, Jérémie Gallien, Jun Li, Hongmin Li, Geert-Jan van Houtum and Chung Piaw Teo) has just selected the Finalist Papers for this year's edition, which will be presented to the competition's Industry Judge Panel (Srinivas Bollapragada, Mustafa Sir and Sridhar Tayur) during a special session of the upcoming MSOM Annual Meeting in Montreal as follows:

Session A

9:30 am - 10:00 am: Got (the Best) Milk? Pooling Donations in Human Milk Banks with Machine Learning and Optimization by Chan, Mahmood, O'Connor, Stone, Unger, Wong and Zhu
Session B
10:30 am - 11:00 am: Decarbonizing OCP by Digalakis, Bertsimas and Cory-Wright
11:00 am - 11:30 am: Patient Sensitivity to Emergency Department Waiting Time Announcements by Park, Ouyang, Wang, Savin, Leung and Rainer
11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Improving Farmers' Income on Online Agri-platforms: Evidence from the Field by Singhvi, Levi, Rajan and Zheng
The format for these time slots will be 20 minutes of presentations by the authors followed by 10 minutes of questions first by the Industry Judge Panel and then (if time permit) by other attendees.
