Dear Colleagues:
The M&SOM Journal's last OM Practice Problem Seminar of the calendar year was organized on Wednesday December 7th. During this seminar Assaf Avrahami (CEO of Wizsoft and Visiting Professor with the Technion / Israel Institute of Technology) discussed research opportunities associated with data-driven decision making in small and medium businesses. The seminar's archival page on the journal website including presentation slides is located here, and the YouTube channel set up in order to facilitate the related post-seminar online discussion that will be open and monitored for the next month is located here.
In the context of this interaction, Dr. Avrahami has agreed to share a technical description of the data structure implemented in the ERP software provided by his firm to many client companies (available on his seminar's archival page), and would welcome research proposals including data access applications by members of the OM research community. Interested colleagues may inquire about this opportunity and submit proposals by directly contacting Dr. Avrahami at aa@H-erp.co.il.
