    As a long-time partner to the INFORMS community, Kinaxis was pleased to sponsor the INFORMS MSOM conference at McGill University. We enjoyed exchanging ideas on innovations in AI/ML for supply chain, discussing our free Kinaxis Academic Program and elevating supply chain talent.     An important effort.   My observation over 50 years is the key to keeping talent is relevance.  Is the work relevant technically and business impact.  This also requires early on the talent recognize the report is an important as the algorithm.

    I'm not a supply chain practitioner - I'm a mechanical engineer in the power generation industry. My advice on retaining talent is to promote good leaders. Good talent will stick around if treated well.
