We're excited to invite you to be part of the Well-Informed PhD Wellness Group or the Well-Informed Faculty Group, a transformative initiative designed to support doctoral students and early-career faculty from underrepresented groups in academia.
What is Well-Informed?
Sponsored by the INFORMS Ambassador Program, Well-Informed provides a holistic wellness and mentorship experience through:
✅ Monthly virtual workshops tailored to the unique challenges faced by PhD students and junior faculty.
✅ Mentorship & peer support to help you navigate academia with confidence.
✅ An in-person mini wellness retreat at the 2025 INFORMS Annual Meeting to connect, recharge, and strategize for success.
Each group is designed to meet the specific needs of its members. Participants will gain powerful tools to:
✨ Manage stress and prevent burnout.
✨ Overcome imposter syndrome and self-doubt.
✨ Build resilience and maintain motivation.
✨ Develop a strong community of like-minded scholars.
✨ Enhance their professional development and networking opportunities.
At the end of this year-long program, you will walk away with a stronger support system, greater mental wellness, and the skills to thrive in academia-not just survive it!
