This is a reminder about the November 15, 2025 deadline for submitting papers to the refereed proceedings of the 2026 INFORMS Optimization Society Conference, which will be held March 20–22, 2026 in Atlanta, GA.

Key Details for the Refereed Proceedings

    • We welcome manuscripts from all areas of mathematical optimization.
    • Submission deadline: November 15, 2025 11:59pm AoE
    • Expected notification date: February 15, 2026
    • Papers are to be submitted via OpenReview. New profiles may take time to be activated on OpenReview, so please create accounts several weeks before the deadline.
    • Submitted papers cannot be simultaneously in consideration at (or submitted to) any other refereed venue until the IOS review process is completed.
    • Accepted papers will be reviewed using the standard of the INFORMS Journal on Optimization (IJOO) and "journal-ready" submissions will be given the opportunity to receive an expedited review process at IJOO.
    • Format: 14 pages + references using the IJOO template and following the format specifications: double spaced, 11-point font, 1-inch margins, and anonymized. Appendices are accepted without a page limit, but these may not be reviewed.
    • An abstract associated to your paper must be submitted (or accepted to an invited session) to IOS 2026, following the instructions at https://ios2026.isye.gatech.edu/abstract-submission. The abstract submission deadline is also November 15.
    • Decision on papers for the refereed proceedings will be announced after the speaker registration deadline for IOS: at least one author must commit to attend IOS regardless of the outcome of the refereed paper review.

More information about the IOS conference can be found on the IOS 2026 website: https://ios2026.isye.gatech.edu/refereed-proceedings.

For questions about the refereed proceedings, please email Joseph Paat (joseph.paat@ubc.ca) or Aleksandr Kazachkov (akazachkov@ufl.edu).

We are looking forward to your submissions,
    Joe and Aleks
