We are pleased to invite you to the Supply Chain Conference 2025, which will take place on December 10, 2025, and will be hosted by the HKUST Li & Fung Supply Chain Institute. This conference commemorates the 30th anniversary of the inaugural conference on supply chain management held at HKUST, which laid the foundation for significant advancements in supply chain research.
As we navigate a new era in supply chain management, the theme for this conference is The New Supply Chain in Times of Turbulence. The conference aims to highlight recent issues such as
- The impact of the new tariff wars on supply chains and strategies companies can adopt, including the viability of the "China Plus One" approach.
- The importance of trade financing as companies expand their supply chains in response to major shifts.
- The necessity of understanding the Asian perspective on global supply chain strategies.
- The role of AI and automation in reshaping supply chain strategies during turbulent times.
Join us for a day of insightful discussions, networking, and exploration of the latest trends and innovations in supply chain management. A special issue of Production and Operations Management (POM) will be published based partially on some of the papers in this conference.
