Reflecting on the INFORMS Ethics Guidelines, I see a commitment to transparency, societal awareness, and rigorous ethical standards. In my work, these principles reinforce the importance of honesty and accountability, especially when handling data with potential biases. An ethical dilemma I foresee is working with data that could perpetuate unintended biases. The guidelines remind me of the need to transparently disclose data limitations and make conscious efforts to mitigate bias. This approach not only protects stakeholder interests but also supports ethical, impactful outcomes.
