Dear DMS members,
The INFORMS Data Mining Society announces a call for nominations for the following officer positions.
· Chair-Elect: this is a two-year term (Vice chair in the first year and chair in the second year).
· Two council members: this is a two-year term.
· Communication officer (Webmaster/Newsletter Editor): this is an one-year term.
You may refer to the responsibilities of these officers in the Bylaws at https://connect.informs.org/data-mining/about-us/bylaws .
Please send your nominations or self-nominations to Chun-An (Joe) Chou (ch.chou@northeastern.edu) including contact information (name, email, and brief background) for the nominee by August 27, 2023. Nominee must be INFORMS and INFORMS DMS members. And the nomination rule is one person per position. Online elections will take place in early September.
In addition to these positions, we always welcome you to join us and serve the DMS members. Look forward to seeing you in the INFORMS meeting.
