INFORMS Constitutional Amendments Pass
I would like to announce that the constitutional amendments proposed by the 2022 INFORMS Board of Directors exceeded the quorum requirement and surpassed the 60 percent approval threshold - the INFORMS Constitutional Amendments pass!
We appreciate those of you who voted and/or assisted with this important campaign. We surpassed our quorum by just a few hundred ballots, so your vote really made a difference. These changes allow us to better futureproof our organization. And, of course, we are thrilled that we will no longer need to use traditional mail to handle INFORMS business!
As stated on the ballot, the changes will become effective on March 15, 2023. The new Constitution will be posted on the INFORMS website on March 15, 2023.
