    INFORMS Analytics Collections, the multimedia publication of INFORMS, is delighted to announce the publication of a new collection on the topic of Online Marketplaces.

    The Editors of this collection are: Guangwen Kong (Temple University), Ming Hu (University of Toronto) and Garrett van Ryzin (Amazon).

    This collection contains relevant multimedia sources showcasing Data Analytics Applications in the Online Marketplaces sphere. Besides numerous journal articles, the collection provides links to academic materials such as classroom games, talks and interviews, among others.

      2. General Theory:  including theories that are applicable to online marketplaces in general 
      3. Online Selling Platforms: including e-tailers and marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay
      4. Resource Sharing Platforms: including product-sharing platforms such as car sharing, bike sharing and short-term rental
      5. On-Demand Platforms: including on-demand ride-hailing platforms, and food and other delivery platforms 
      6. Other Platforms: including crowdfunding platforms, education platforms, and kidney exchange platforms
